About This Role
We're looking for a Security Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their security career who wants to learn from experienced professionals while working on real-world security challenges.
This is a remote position open to candidates in the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Monitor client environments for security events
- Triage and investigate security alerts
- Document findings in clear, professional reports
- Research vulnerabilities and threat intelligence
- Support compliance assessment activities
- Maintain security tools and infrastructure
- Participate in security research projects
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with common security tools (Nmap, Wireshark, etc.)
- Knowledge of common vulnerability types
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication
- Eagerness to learn and grow in security
- Relevant degree or certifications (Security+, CEH, or similar)
Nice to Have
- Experience with SIEM platforms
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Home lab or CTF experience
- Bug bounty participation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Experience with Linux administration
